On the evening of November 8, LEANLAB Education will celebrate the 5th cohort of entrepreneurs to complete the K12 Fellowship program!

This fall, LEANLAB brought six visionary fellows hailing from across the country to Kansas City to partner with local schools to co-design research pilots and test their innovations.

Celebrate with us over cocktails and hors d’oeurves and take part in an inspiring evening where we’ll share those exciting innovations and our theory of a better way to co-create the future of education through boldness, equity, and human-centered design.

Who Should Attend?: Lean Lab Innovation Workshops are most ideal for:

  1. Educators and School Leaders who want to learn design-thinking, innovation processes and cultivate environments that foster creativity and entrepreneurial mindsets in their classrooms and schools
  2. Aspiring Entrepreneurs with ideas that address critical problems in the education sector AND
  3. Pilot-stage Entrepreneurs who want to take their current education startups to the next level.

What Will I Learn?: We'll walk you through the design thinking processes developed and refined at the renowned Stanford D School. You'll work to refine your idea using the famed lean startup methodologies first developed by Eric Ries and taught at Harvard. You'll participate in exercises that will help you identify your target user/customer, and design, build and test an initial prototype.

Who Leads the Workshops? The Lean Lab team has an extensive and varied background that crosses the education sector and start up world. Learn more about us.

What's in it for you? By being a part of the workshop, you will get to join a larger community of ed innovators and gain access to our extensive network and resources to grow and sustain innovation in education across the region.

What's In It for The Lean Lab?: We're seeking Kansas City entrepreneurs who could potentially fill one of the five coveted spots in our 2018 Incubator Fellowship Program.
