Rasheed joins the Leanlab team to lead efforts to strengthen and advance a national coalition of collaborators dedicated to developing meaningful and inclusive learning experiences. 

A neurodivergent learner, Rasheed is deeply committed to work that improves opportunities and outcomes for traditionally marginalized communities. Rasheed began his career as an elementary school teacher and has led innovation work at scale in district, charter, and independent school contexts. He was a co-founder of the personalized, competency-based Marzano Academy and most recently led the vision and strategy for a national charter school network’s innovation efforts. 

Rasheed holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University, and two Master of Education degrees in Curriculum & Instruction and Educational Leadership, respectively. Originally from the DMV (DC., Maryland, Virginia) area, Rasheed currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter where he enjoys exploring the outdoors and rooting for the Lakers.
