Fiona Eichinger

Fiona Eichinger brings international experience in project management, education, monitoring, and evaluation since 2016 to Leanlab Education. She has managed projects funded by major donors such as USAID, FCDO, the Gates Foundation, and USDA, with budgets ranging from $115,000 to $8 million. In her previous role, she contributed to the launch and management of country offices in Malawi and Zambia, including serving as Acting Finance and Administration Director.

Fiona is also passionate about migrant and refugee inclusion, with hands-on experience designing and managing education programs for protection-seeking communities across Europe and the United States, as well as partnering with UN agencies and national ministries to expand access and improve services.

Fiona holds a Master’s degree in international relations specializing in development and humanitarian assistance from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor’s degree in international studies and biological sciences from the University of Pittsburgh. Fiona is fluent in English, German, and Spanish, and is studying Arabic.
